One of the essential parts of any uniform
is the "belt" or what holds your pants or skirts up (yes they fought in
SKIRTS!) In the spiritual battle this is "Truth" or right doctrine.
Many churches today will tell you that doctrine doesn't matter, that God has given us "new revelation". Don't you believe it! Read the verses below for what God has to say about it all. |
| Like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, you have
to be studying the Word of God to find out if what you are reading or hearing
is true! You also need to be going to a Christ-centered church that puts
the Bible front and center (Isaiah 8:20). A church that lifts up
the name of Jesus, a church that gives Jesus all the honor and glory, a
church that explains and presents God's plan of Salvation, and what Jesus
did for us at the cross.
