When I was in Viet Nam, everyone wore a "flack jacket". It was a sort of bullet proof vest that could protect your vital organs from shell fragments that might explode near you.

We have a similar jacket that we must wear in the Spiritual War called the "Breastplate of Righteousness..."

What keeps ups protected is being "confessed up". Like breathing, when we sin we gotta' tell the Lord about it and ask for forgiveness. He promises that he will forgive and completely forget our sins when we do that.

If we go out to battle with sin on our hear, the Devil will use that against us and say "You can't minisiter for Jesus, remember what you did last night?" But God himself says in Psalms 103:10-12 that when he forgives us that our sins are completely taken away. If you notice, you can go North long enough and pretty soon you go South again, but once you head East, you NEVER go WEST (as far as the East is from the West...)

Get confessed up and keep confessed up...
